Wardrobe continues…

The wonderfully difficult wardrobe build continues for Frank…..while I work on some more fly and mozzie control!

One of the most challenging parts of this whole build has been the curved walls of the van and our timber panelling. This has made making things like cupboards really difficult, trying to get the right angle and shape, and continuely having to shave, file and sand bits off to make the edges sit flush with the wall.

Meanwhile, today I’m focusing on the sliding door area and oh my goodness, so much standing, staring, head scratching and contemplating how I’m going to get flimsy mozzie net to attach (and stay attached) to the door frame of the sliding door, while still being able to take it on/off easily…..magnets!! Yes, magnets!!

A few hours later, a few adjustments, lots of magnets and a nifty little timber and black lace ribbon tie off design to roll it up and we now have a side sliding screen door – made with recycled mozzie net!
