Huff Bagelry

So this is a pretty standard start to the day for us. Huff Bagelry in Mentone, #5 BLT on rye, lightly toasted, roquette on the side, with a side of scrambled…they know our order just be seeing our faces!
It all started when we first moved into the area, and being avid foodies and total coffee snobs, we were on the hunt for our new local. We went from cafe to cafe…and straight past others.. Either the coffee was good, but the food bad, or the coffee bad and the food good. …Or there was just no vibe. A few weeks passed and we had tried every cafe in the neighbourhood! Ughhhh….we sighed, let’s go try the ‘bagel place’. Neither of us keen as bagels tend to be so doughy and heavy…and surely they can’t do good coffee…. Oh wow were we wrong!!! The bagels are made on site, they are light and fluffy, come in a variety of ‘flavours’ (rye with sunflower seeds is our fave) and the filling choices – yum!! Not to mention the coffee!! Consistently delicious!!! Huff Bagelry….we will miss you
