There is always fun to be had in between towns and stop overs!
Having reached our furthest Northern point of Queensland, we are now heading inland back to Anakie, then making the treck into NT and onto Darwin! This means there’ll be plenty more days like this one!
Hey, loving the blog. Thanks for sharing your adVanture… It’s making me homesick. Just wondering how you’ve been coping with dirt roads so far and your plans for future in regards to having a two-wheel drive – does it limit you much? It seems you’re mostly sticking to sealed roads. I want to do a big trip around oz in a stealth van like yours, but worried It wont cope with off-road conditions in remote NT.
Hi, yes the dirt roads were a challenge and as we had a two-wheel drive van we did stay away from most unsealed roads, it did limit our trip a bit and we didn’t want to damage the van going off road, so if you are looking to go off road more often it would be wise to consider 4wd 🙂
