Cupboard building – starts now!!

After hunting around vintage wares stores, op shops, hard waste, nature strips….the list goes on! We decided to make our own custom cupboards, which actually is probably better anyhow!

As the van has curved walls, there was no way a typical square cupboard was going to fit. So, out comes the cupboard and it’s template time! Template template template template…..adjust…cut…cut some more. Timber….cut, shave, file….cut, shave a bit more….wow!!!!! What a lengthy process for poor Frank!!

Finally the cupboard came together and to give it some fancy Frank flair, we added a vintage print of the Dutchess of St.Albans painting as the cupboard door!! Fancy hey! Nice way to have artwork, while maintaining wall space 😉
