Back..to..Bunnings……

Geee….just when we think all is well….it is not! Trying to finish the kitchen plumbing and STILL having issues with the 20L water tank (jerry can!) leaking from the tap. We have tried countless tap/outlet fittings, adhesives, more adhesives, more days waiting for drying time, countless fill it up – test it out. Stupid shit ….still leaks!! That’s it, throw that rubbish jerry can out and let’s go and get something better.

So, back to Bunnings. Found a great strong jerry. Next challenge, finding a fitting that fits the thread, has a shut off valve and a can attach to a hose. Easier said than done! But, after an hour or so of back and forward (and a pie and a latte later) all figured out, back home and looking good!

The idea is that we have 2 x 20L water storage – one clean, one waste, that we can take out to fill/empty. This will be for water dishes etc in the kitchen sink.

We now just need a replacement switch for our kitchen sink and then plumbing is done!!
