So many frustrations!!

Wahhhhh…….after all our hard work yesterday on the plumbing for our shower/bath…..we turn it on…..no water. Pump works, but no water is coming through the piping into the hot water system and certainly not into the handheld shower!

We readjust a few things, pull the water tank out…scratch our heads for a while. Then I say “maybe the pump needs to be below the water tank level, like the kitchen pump?” Although it’s a larger pump (and with a little of my own online research!) we work out that pumps can only push water, not pull it. So, we need to let gravity do the pulling and then it will do the pushing.

We do a test run with the water tank up high and voila – it works! Disconnect everything (water goes everywhere!!) and back to the drawing board – literally. Unfortunately it means that all the wiring, piping, placement and layout needs to be changed. More work!! Frank feeling super frustrated….

After another afternoon’s work, everything is in it’s new place, ready to turn on. It works!! YAHHH we have a shower…but the pipes leak….back to Bunnings. Back home…redo, readjust…still leaks….back to Bunnings. Back home, readjust. Ok don’t touch it!! Let’s go out for all you can eat buffet dinner and deal with this tomorrow!!
